Country: Germany
Year: 1997
Synopsis: In Nordhorn, a town close to the Dutch border, a great number of modern outdoor sculptures are located, made of Bentheimer sandstone, granite, marble, stainless steel, bronze, glass, timber, or black plants.

We encounter the sculptures in their environment and interview the artists Jenny Holzer, Dan Graham, and Karl Prantl.

Subtly we are guided, discreetly something is revealed to us.

While following the film’s images, a path emerges – the “Skulpturenweg Nordhorn”, which now reaches far beyond the town.
